Sara

Born and raised in upstate New York, Sara has returned to the capital region inspired to bring mysore and ashtanga yoga to town! She has spent the past decade immersing herself in yoga, learning from esteemed teachers, and training the next wave of yoga practitioners.

She started practicing mysore style ashtanga in 2013 and teaching in the room in 2015, in Washington DC. She has studied with some of the great Ashtangis; David Swenson, David Robson, Eddie Stern, Kino & Tim, David Keil, as well as the quieter ones around the world. She has taught mysore programs in Washington DC and Austin Texas.

Sara holds over 1300 hours of yoga training — Dharma Yoga with Sri Dharma Mittra, Rocket Yoga with David Kyle, Ashtanga with David Swenson, Meridian Yoga with Rose Erin Vaughn, and Yin Yoga with Bernie Clark. Her first teacher training was completed in January 2014 and she continues to stay devoted to her studentship today.

She firmly believes that with consistent and sincere yoga practice, we can break free from negative patterns, step into our potential, and embrace the brilliance of life.

Sara also delights in studying Ayurveda, vedic astrology, and herbalism.

Pat

Pat is a seasoned yoga teacher with over a decade of experience in guiding practitioners on their yoga journey. Pat's expertise has been honed through extensive travels, teaching, and training across the globe.

Renowned for his strong, intense, and adaptable style, he creates a personable atmosphere in his classes that resonates with students. Drawing from a diverse background that includes formal study of kinesiology, martial arts and weightlifting, Pat weaves a rich tapestry of techniques into his teachings.

His fascination with uncovering the interconnectedness of life fuels his practice, offering students a glimpse into the limitless potentials within themselves.

Pat's methods empower individuals to work towards self-discovery and personal growth through the transformative power of yoga.
