    All Levels!

Named for the city in India where the practice originated. This is the traditional method of learning ashtanga vinyasa yoga. It's like the Montessori of yoga.

Students are taught individually within a small group setting. You’ll start by learning the primary series — yoga chikitsa (yoga therapy), a powerful system of breath & movement.

Teachers offer personalized instruction, and hands-on support.

This class is PERFECT for beginners!

  • 45 minute, abbreviated ashtanga vinyasa class including sun salutations, standing postures, and a few seated postures.

This class is great for "daily maintenance" as well as beginners.

Fundamentals refers to the standing asanas of ashtanga vinyasa that every practitioner does, whether they're brand new or have decades of experience. Variations of these postures form the base of all modern vinyasa yoga.

The standing postures build strength in the legs, develop proprioception and balance, open the hips & pelvis, and prepare us for what is to come.

  • Tuesday & Thursday 4:30pm

    Friday 6:30am

T/Th class is 60 minutes and appropriate for all levels!

F class is best for students with some experience in mysore, or those looking for a challenge.

Yoga Chikitsa. Ashtanga Primary series is a dynamic sequence of sun salutations, standing and balancing postures, seated forward folds and hip openers, followed by inversions and meditative postures.

The postures range in difficulty. No expectation to be able to do everything on the first try.

Enthusiasm and willingness to be challenged (tapas!) encouraged.

This class includes the sanskrit vinyasa count. Learn the postures in the Mysore room, master the vinyasa in led class.

  • Saturday 9am

Larry Schultz created the rocket in the late 80s while teaching to the Grateful Dead.

Class is a remix of the classical ashtanga vinyasa sequences. The postures are drawn from the primary, intermediate, and advanced series. Rocket yoga “breaks the rules” and encourages practitioners to explore their limitations and delight in their strengths.

Arm Balances, Handstands....many opportunities to delight in play!

  • TBD

    The Lab!

Learn drills and technique for hand-balancing, transitions, and inversions. Build strength and delight in play!

All-levels welcome. Great for new students looking to learn proper alignment and technique as well as advanced students eager to float and fly!
